Rabbi Leo Dee is a former director at a private equity fund in London, with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge. Leo served as a rabbi in the UK before moving with his wife Lucy and five children to Israel. He co-wrote the first Eco-Bible commentary and wrote his first book “Transforming the World: The Jewish Impact on Modernity” on the relevance of Judaism today.
On April 7, 2023, Leo’s life changed forever when his wife Lucy and two of their daughters, Maia (20) and Rina (15) were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists during Pesach. Rabbi Leo became an inspirational public speaker in Israel and around the world.
He has written two more books – on faith & prayer, and on grief & healing – and he is working on an English edition of the
Gemara. Rabbi Leo lives in Efrat with his three remaining children, Keren, Tali and Yehuda, and his new wife Aliza Teplitsky. Leo's new book “The Seven Facets of Healing” is available on Amazon.
